3) What is Order Number?
An Order Number is an unique ID for the orders made online. The Order Number is of Key importance as the track downloaded requires the Order Number and your Username during the first play.
4) I see a "Burn" icon next to a few songs. What does it mean?
This icon means that this particular track can be burnt (copied) on a CD in the cda (audio CD) format. This CD can be played back on any CD player (CD ROM's, Car Stereo, Home Audio System etc.) like any other audio CD.
5) How do I burn the tracks that I have purchased, on a CD?
To burn your own audio CD from the tracks that you have purchased, all you need is a CD Writer. Here are the steps to create your own audio cd.
1) Open Windows Media Player and go to the section called 'Media Library'.
2) Create a new playlist.
3) Add upto 60 minutes of audio into the playlist. You can add a track into a playlist by right clicking on the track and selecting 'add to playlist'.
4) Insert a blank recordable CD in your CD Writer.
5) Go to 'File' on the toolbar of your player and click on 'Copy To CD'.
6) Click 'Copy' to successfully create your CD.
6) How long does it normally take to download a song?
On an average, on a 56.6 Kbps dial-up modem, a 4 to 5 minute track would take about the same time to download as any other 3-4 MB file. The time taken is directly proportaional to the length and the file size of the track you are downloading. With a cable/DSL or any other broadband connection, it should take relatively lesser time. This is purely dependent on your internet connectivity, since different Internet Service Providers (ISP) offer different speeds. The download will be much faster if the interner traffic at that point of time is low.
7) I clicked on the "Download" button, and it started downloading the song file. But halfway through the download, i got disconnected and the download got cut off. What do I do?
You can redownload the music file. To redownload the music file, go to "My Account > Downloads".
8) Does it matter that I connect to the internet through a proxy?
No.
9) What appears on the shopper's card statement?
